By accessing or using Shadowing Chat (the 'Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
Shadowing Chat is a language learning platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized dialogues with audio. The Service allows users to create, edit, and practice conversational scenarios in multiple languages.
To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address or OAuth provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Shadowing Chat offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe and are billed monthly. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal.
Each subscription tier includes specific usage limits, including: number of credits per month, maximum lines per dialogue, and maximum characters per line. These limits are enforced by the system and may not be exceeded without upgrading your subscription tier.
The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by Shadowing Chat and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any dialogues, prompts, or other content you create using the Service. However, by using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
You may not use the Service to: (a) generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable; (b) violate any applicable laws or regulations; (c) infringe upon the rights of others; (d) transmit malware or malicious code; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
The Service is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shadowing Chat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
